Take a Hike

Many of our guests start the day with a hike or a run. Some take their children Troll hunting as the famous Troll "Happy Anders" is in our neighbourhood. If you need more info about Happy Anders.

Just a little fresh air -15 mins.

A walk down to the lake is always an option. Walk to the other side of our street. Walk through the 2 wooden gates. Watchout for business cards from the goats. We have goats and calves in that paddock.

All our livestock is very friendly and many of the goats will come by for a pad.
The lake is a natural wonder itself. In the spring we have lots of geese and waterfowls to watch. At the bank we have a floating pontoon platform with a bench where romantic things are bound to happen
PS: Remember to close the gates

A good stroll approx -1 hour.

Asphalt road for 800m hereafter nice gravel road.
Follow the orange line. It will lead you out in a modern nature reserve.
Gravel has been removed from this area for decades. This explains the big craters and many hills. The area is now one of the largest nature reserves in our region. You can find all sort of things there beside lots of birds, hares and deer.
Things like mini trains, huge troll made of wood, opera etc. Read more on the website
And don't worry the paths are on Google map.

Check the forest out -30 to 40 mins.

Start your walk heading straight East. Follow the path down to the corner of the forest, where there is a wide opening in the fence. Here you can enter the forest.
Enjoy lots of deer and pheasants. In May-June you can hear the wonderful song from the nightingale. In the summertime, the paths are dry and safe to walk in sneakers. Always say “Hi” if you meet some one in there (This is local custom). You can see all the paths in the forest on Google maps.
